Possible Business Telstra ADSL2+ Plan

Just a quick one, I am currently on the B09 plan (8mbit service)

I would be interested to know if you are planning to release a B plan on the Telstra ADSL2+ service. While I know that I will never get more then 6mbps where I am located being for business I would be happy with the increased upload speed of the service.

There shouldn't be any difference at all.

I know there should not be a difference but i do notice them from time to time.

As an example, 3 - 4 months ago I was on Resold ADSL2+ with internode.

My Max sync with them was 5500

Now Exetel has changed my line over to their resold ADSL2+ and I have the below stats

DownStream Connection Speed 6539 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 919 kbps

it is a better sync for download by over 1mbps

I cant explain it, its just odd.

It is odd because, as far as I am aware, no physical change would have been made to the connection of your service at the exchange or back to the TW/POI for either of the two ISPs - just a change to the billing data base and the routing from the TW termination point to the ISP.

The actual sync data should not have changed at all.
