Can you confirm what options will be available if you do manage to exceed the 200G. Shapped what speed and/or cost per G.
Thanks,

Re: Naked users forgotten?
Does the $3 admin/account fee apply to these new plans ?

Re: Naked users forgotten?
We are very interested in the new plans but are unsure due to our living arrangement might change next year. (possibility to work overseas)
Can I ask how much in total we will have to pay if we have to cancel the plan mid way?

Just to clarify.

Re: Naked users forgotten?
i think the new plans for me are not good quite frankly
i'm on > OND $73.00 90 GB 180 GB + CAP19 for 9.00
OCV200/19 = my mobile is not touched since i'm already on CAP19 ?
also 200GB is both peak / offpeak combine now so no offpeak ?
can i change to a different plan later on outside the OCV plans ?
if so what is a preferable plan for me ?
problem with this plans for me are
- 200GB down from 270GB
- $1.00/GB up from 50c/GB "this i don't care for but losing 70GB makes it more probable"
is the new shaping speed 512k or faster ?
only advantage i can see is it will cost me 70.00 instead of 82.00 in per month

Re: Naked users forgotten?
There are no lower cost options than $60? Currently my naked adsl bill runs to about $46 after paying the $3 fee and a few dollars for going over peak quota (at 50cents per GB) so whilst this is an interesting offer I doubt I'll take it up.
Am I correct in observing that all the cheaper options have disappeared in the last few months? I'll be organising a new ADSL connection for my mother soon and everything exetel now offers is overkill.
Thanks!

Re: Naked users forgotten?
Well, I've just put my change request in to the OCV200 plan.
Suits my usage perfectly - 200GB usage at any time, and $1 per GB excess. The free local and national calls on the PSTN lines are a bonus, even though I tend to use my VoIP accounts via a SIP client on my iPhone. Happy enough with my current Exetel mobile plan, no need to bundle it in.

Re: Naked users forgotten?
Does this include users who opt to pay using credit card, or will there be an additional fee?ForumAdmin wrote:No.sujd wrote:Does the $3 admin/account fee apply to these new plans ?
Secondly, will your statement remain true for at least the duration of the new contract?

Re: Naked users forgotten?
Very interested in new plans
Currently I have ADSL 2 naked and 2 mobiles ( both with Exetel )
My iPhone is on a nil mthly charge with Internet at $15 per gig via Exetel Optus
The other mobile is also on a nil mthly charge with Exetel Vodaphone but no Internet ( old mobile)
My question is how can I get both mobiles on the new plan and get all the benefits.
I would update old mobile to one which can access the Internet if necessary
jtdt

Re: Naked users forgotten?
If your PSTN number (your line number issued by the telco) is different to your voip number, does it mean you will have two active numbers? One making calls through your modem. Two making calls through your now active phone line.
If you reactivate your line, will you be issued with a new PSTN number?
The plan includes free national calls. Does this mean all calls through your voip are still charged at 10cents or are they also free as well.
What about overseas calls? Do the international rates that apply now through the voip service also apply with the reactivated line?

My assumptions is that you'll get a new PSTN number - it's unlikely that your old PSTN number is still available.Wolverine wrote:If your PSTN number (your line number issued by the telco) is different to your voip number, does it mean you will have two active numbers? The email and FA's post is quite clear on the free calls:
"2. Including free PSTN calls to local and national wire line numbers and calls to Optus mobiles at no charge (subject to AUP). "
It specifies PSTN calls.
According to the sign up page, the international rates for the PSTN service are available here:
http://www.exetel.com.au/a_adsl2_wireline.php
They are not the same as the VoIP rates.
