so if i currently has a naked adsl2+ service and a phone (via optus) do i apply for the OCV200 or OCV200/19?
and if you apply separately it'd be $1 cheaper..
ocv200/19 = $70
ocv200 = 60 +19cap -10 discount = $69. lol

I'm currently on a naked plan with two vodafone mobiles and am interested in switching - does it make any difference whether i switch to "OCV - 200 for $60.00 per month" and request the mobiles be ported to the $35 cap, or switch to "OCV - 200/35 for $80.00 per month"?

I want to keep the same numbers.

$43 to $60 is hardly a "similar cost"!
Guess it depends on your current plan and how much you spend on local/national calls per month. We spend about $5 - $7 per month. So for us, it's a $10 'line rental' if you like...but we also get a useful increase in download allowance (wife has recently discovered abc iview) plus a backup PSTN line.

I agree it will not suit everyone but I think it is very reasonable, especially with no cost to deactivate the line.

I think the market is such that a single ISP can longer try to satisfy all users and instead has to choose the market segment they can best service.

We will likely take up the offer after some research...

I am on D/22NOTEL Plan Naked ADSL2+ / VOIP, if I change to the OCV200 plan with Optus phone line, can I get the same phone line number as my current VOIP number?

thanks

Just read the email. Looking good... Only one question. Can we port a mobile number across (vodaphone) or will a new mobile number be required?

Signed up as it represents great value for us.

Will route local, national and emergency calls via PSTN and all other calls via VOIP.

Go from 30 peak/unlimited off peak to 200gig anytime (not that I will use that much) for a $3-4 per month extra overall, no more yelling at the teenagers for watching too much you tube during peak.

Thanks Exetel for the new plans :D

Just noticed that after you apply to upgrade to the bundled plan and submit the application, it says the monthly ADSL charge is $30 instead of $60. Theres no mention anywhere of where the other $30 is charged. I dont know if thats meant to be a typo, but I'd thought I'd let you know in case.

Cheers
It is typo. We have fixed the error. The monthly charge including ADSL2+ and telephone line rental is $60.

I think it is a great idea and went to the user facility and pressed apply, but got the message "You cannot view details"

Thanks
I too would like to know this. Thanks.
I would also like to know if this is possible.

I'd take the offer, but I know I am moving out of this house within 12 months, in fact most likely within 3. What is happening to naked plans if we don't take up the offer?

I don't mind naked, it works ok. But when Internet is down nd so is phone, the missus is not pleased. Happy wife happy life.

I went naked basically to save line rental ($30 at the time) and call costs. If this $60 plan with free calls and excessive download allowance was available 12 months ago, I would not have switched to naked.

Quick question for those that have signed up for one of these.

I signed up yesterday afternoon, got the successful submission form the acknowledgement email, but if I go to the "Change Plan Status" tab in my user facilities, there is no sign of the change request.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks
