What bugs me though is the redirection. The form action is to https://www.exetel.com.au/login/redirect.php. All my browsers, except clunky Firefox, are sent to https://www.exetel.com.au/members/home.php to log in again, instead of to somewhere interesting.
It's easier to go there in the first place.
Then, once in, use of the main side bar (except in FF) sends me off to a further login to see whatever I want.
It would be nice not to be forced onto a particular browser to avoid the site's foibles. Some less used but conforming browsers like Konqueror can't handle the log in at all.
Annoyance with the Exetel homepage
Re: Annoyance with the Exetel homepage
If this is regarding the issue we had earlier - with horizontal scrolling and login button not displaying on the screen, jokiin wrote:Safari on iOS current version iPhone5, Chrome on Motorola Razr HD Android 4.12, almost works on the iPhone, can enter the user name and password but don't get any further than that, Motorola couldn't even get that far
please make sure to clear your mobile browser cache and try again. its been fixed already. having said that, if its a redirection issue, we will be looking into that too.
please be patient while its being resolved.
Re: Annoyance with the Exetel homepage
I actually see this from time to time with Firefox as well. It has something to do with the session cookie in the browser. If I clear the cookie for http://www.exetel.com.au when that happens and login again through the main page, it logs me straight into the member facilities page again.Dazzled wrote:What bugs me though is the redirection. I hadn't cleared the cache on the iPhone, so will need to check, the Android handset though I'd never even accessed the site previously and it still didn't work???thusithaK wrote:If this is regarding the issue we had earlier - with horizontal scrolling and login button not displaying on the screen, jokiin wrote:Safari on iOS current version iPhone5, Chrome on Motorola Razr HD Android 4.12, almost works on the iPhone, can enter the user name and password but don't get any further than that, Motorola couldn't even get that far
