Modem Setup

Post by 493655 » Mon Apr 06, 2020 12:15 pm

I have received an email saying the expected activation date would be 27th March, but now I am having difficulties connecting to the wi-fi. Could you please check it for me?

PM me your service number or the customer id and I will check the status on this.

Am receiving a new modem (ZT) from Exetel to replace my NetComm- which is apparently causing issues.
I know these come preconfigured. But do I need to change anything at all ?
Is the wifi password the same ? Does the name of my network need to be changed ? Will I have to put a new wife password into my other devices?
Not sure what I will have to do.

Hi,
Since the ZTE mode is preconfigured, no changes are required except for entering the new wifi password to the devices. The default wifi name and the password can be found on the sticker itself and if you would like to change it, you can do so by login into the modem.

Setup instructions can be found in the following link.
