BiPAC 7404V(G)OX Set up problem

Hi,
Just installing my new Billion Modem/Router/Voip/Dishwasher and am having an annoying problem with the quick set up. (I am replacing my previous Modem and Router set up.)

Plugged in new modem. Plugged in Ethernet to computer & Phone line to Filter. All looking good.

When I go to quickstart, it asks me (Step1) to select the WAN port, ADSL or G3.
ADSL selected I press continue. (Step2) Then it says this message:

ADSL line is not ready. Please check your ADSL line and wait for a while.

The ADSL line is green on the modem but the internet light is red. I have checked all connections and restarted a couple of times, but still the same message.

I am not sure what the problem is? Can anyone shed some light?

Don't use Quick Start

Configure your user name and password manually through the Advanced Menu/ADSL/Profile (hope I got that right - from memory, I do not have one here to check)

Exetel VoIP help is at http://www.exetel.com.au/pdf/Billion7404setup.pdf though there is an error for the modem/router address - Billions use 192.168.1.254

Thanks for the replies. I have got the modem up and running, but not the voip yet.

The voip guide for Billion 7404 is different to the web interface on my 74054V(G)OX. Which I am finding a bit confusing...
Will see how I go.

It's a little bit different. The red-boxed stuff for Phone Port 1 in the Exetel guide is now under SIP Accounts. P120 of the manual.

HI,
I have my VIOP running now after following the set up guide more closely. Thanks for the help.
Sound quality is excellent! but I am finding that the call cuts out at the receiver's end at about 3-4mins. So I can hear them but they can't here me. Not sure why this is?
