I have a Marantz NA7004 network audio player that has AirPlay installed. After doing a lot of troubleshooting procedures with Marantz support they are now saying that the problem must be with my router and they can't help me any further. I have searched for router setting changes that might solve the problem but with no luck.
Any advice about how I could get my iOS devices to 'recognise' my Marantz machine through the router would be much appreciated. I have done all the usual things such as restarts for the router and everything connected, checked that everything is on the same network and sharing the same IP address (other than the last number) etc but no use - the AirPlay icon fails to appear.
If I absolutely must get a new router then I will but I'd like to know the problem is unsolvable first.
