Unable to connect to new NBN service through modem

Post by JohnLisle » Tue Sep 08, 2015 9:22 pm

Hi all,

I have a new NBN service and am able to get a successful connection through the NTD box, but if I connect my Netgear WNDR4500 modem\router, setup with PPPoE details,
I cannot connect.

The Netgear WNDR4500 has been flashed with DD-WRT firmware.

Are you able to offer me any assistance??
My service No. is - 0201298198

Hi JohnLisle,

Welcome to the Exetel Forum :) Please note that we have already created an internal help-desk ticket to assist you further on this matter. In future, do not include your service number in any of the public forum posts for your own safety. You can either drop us an email via residentialsupport@exetel.com.au or contact us during business hours if it is urgent.
However I have sent you an email via Ticket ID: 9427492 with few instructions that might help you in getting your connection sorted :)

Cheers!

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply.
I had already found that manual for my router and online and been through the setup steps, but still no success.

Are you able to confirm that you are seeing requests from my service on your side??

Thanks.
