Netcomm NF18ACV IPV6 Issues

Post by allisterlm » Tue Apr 16, 2019 4:43 pm

I've submitted an email to residential support a few days ago but have received no reply (#14843220).

I'm having an issue with my NF18ACV router where it seems to drop the IPV6 address after a few hours. This then causes slow loading of webpages presumably as it works to resolve the errors, then switches to IPV4. A reboot of the modem fixes this, but only for a few hours.

Apparently this is a known issue. See thread here: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2767074

At the time I signed up for the NBN, the NF18ACV was the supplied router and supposed to be NBN ready, however it can't do the job. Any chance of getting a new router supplied?

Thanks in advance.
