Hey All,

Miranda exchange and the speed test from Exetel link:

Upload Speed: 631 kbps (78.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 32 ms

We have rebuilt the port at the Dslam according to your service. Power reboot the modem and monitor the service. If the issue persists, let us know for further check on this.

Hi John,

We have further investigated and created a ticket reference 11267684. We need few tests to be completed from you, before escalating with the supplier. We have emailed you all in detail via the ticket and reply back to the same email by attaching the test results.

Thank you and I got the email from Nilushi!

I replied highlighting I use Linux Mint 18 and pfSense firewall. The latest test WITHOUT anything connected yielded:

Last Result:
Download Speed: 2563 kbps (320.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 657 kbps (82.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 29 ms
Jitter: 1 ms

As for the windows specific tests, I'll grab a Win10 Box later this week. Further, no static on the line as asked about in the email.

Hopeful of some usable speed(s) soon,

J

Your Mint box has a better set of tools than W10. netstat will return a huge amount of info if used with the -a argument. Try netstat -tuw instead.
Similarly traceroute has more options than tracert.
