The line is not active, I suppose - no dial tone, but I found the out the number for the line by dialing 127 22 123. However, when I entered the number to check whether ADSL is available for me it said:
For another number in my suburb and on the same exchange, however:SQ function is currently in scheduled outages. Please try it later
SQ result unavailable at this time due to system error. Please try again later.
SQ function is currently not availabble for telephone number (*edited*).
While I've heard for Naked ADSL you need to have the line activated to apply, I didn't think this was the case for the bundled services. If I'm mistaken, what's the $60 line activation charge on the 'plan inclusions' page for? Do I need to deal with Telstra or should I just go ahead and submit an application?ADSL2 Number: 0262487771
