Not sure if this has already been covered somewhere (please forgive me and point in the right direction if it has), but currently I'm on the INCPHONEZ plan and I have opted to be shaped for offpeak (midnight to midday) downloads. I remember a little while ago they increased the offpeak downlaods to 54GB which I was pleased to see, and I noticed I am approaching it this month so I went to check to make sure I was still using the shaping option, which I am. However the description for the shaping option has me a little perplexed:
Doesn't this mean that basically if you choose this option you get shaped to 64 kbps, as well as have to pay $6 per GB over the 54GB limit, whereas if I don't choose the option I stay at normal speed and pay only $3 per GB... Perhaps the shaping leeway hasn't been increased? Or just that the text for the option hasn't changed?I don't want to be charged when I reach my off peak download allowance and realise my download speed will be reduced to 64 kbps once that allowance is reached and if I then exceed 54 gbytes in this period I will be charged at a rate of $6.00 per gb or part thereof until the end of the month.
