ADSL2 at Craigieburn Exchange (VIC)

Post by drooee » Tue Apr 21, 2009 10:05 am

Hi there Exetel folks,

I have recently connected an Exetel ADSL1 service after service qualification advised ADSL2 is not avialable at Craigieburn exchange.

In the application process (and on the Exetel site) I didn't come across any means of getting on a waiting/notification list of any sort.

Can you advise any further information as to a possible date for release of additional ports, or where I can go for more information?

Thanks.

The communications companies don't run waiting lists. All you can do that is accurate is periodically put your number into the Exetel service check page.

You could also keep your eye on the unofficial site at http://www.adsl2exchanges.com.au/ I notice Optus is there, and full up.

Thanks for that Dazzled.

I had checked there previously and last update (2008-10-16 15:31:00) shows a change of status for Optus from "Limited or No Ports" to "Active" which is what prompted me to post here.
