Slow connection since night - Optus ADSL2+ VIC

Post by ronenb75 » Mon Jun 22, 2009 9:20 pm

Hello,

Since night (22/6/2009), the speed is very low.
It seems that the work on the network created high load on the Optus line as you can see here: http://public.mrtg.exetel.com.au/bwsumm ... us-ip.html.
This is the first time this load appear, as you can see from the graph.

Can you please respond?

Cheers,
Ronen.

My speed is awful in NSW, averaging 56K on a download. Have rebooted Cisco router as well as performed complete isolation test. If someone could have a look at my line I would appreciate it.

After the night was over:
Your current bandwidth reading is:

4.89 Mbps
Which means we're back in business. We'll see what happens during today....

I'm on the Botany exchange in Syndey (Optus ADSL2) and I've still got poor speed, even after power cycling the modem.
Your current bandwidth reading is:

1.65 Mbps
But here is nothing odd on the graphs.

Attached are stats from the last two days, the numbers are KBytes/sec and my line normal speed is about 6MBits/s which is ~750MBytes/sec.

From the stats I can't really see and pattern....
