Frequent dropouts, too. Have now logged a fault ticket.....

Could someone pls help me with that...

Yeah, I'm having problems with my connection tonight also.

Performed speed test in the members facilities:

Your current bandwidth reading is:

202.80kbps

which means you can download at 25.35 KB/sec. from our servers.

Have reset modem, etc. I don't think its my end. So anyone else? Or any answers? Not too fussed really as I'm about to turn in, but if it remains like this tomorrow I'll probably lodge a ticket.

What is with the awful slow speeds lately? Actual HTTP file download struggling to even make 20kB/s.

2:15am 23June

Your current bandwidth reading is:

586.40kbps

which means you can download at 73.3 KB/sec. from our servers.

Isn't speeds of at least 150kB/s supposed to be the minimum acceptable on ADSL2+ ?

So what is going on?

ok guys...is there anyone to help me with that?

I opened a ticket and explained that I had done an isolation test, tried different modem etc...and what I got back was a standard reply!

Seriously, that is not what I'm paying for! I haven't changed anything, it was working fine before, so what's happening here?

Exetel pls contact me?!!

Reply back to that generic reply. This will ensure the ticket is re-examined by an support engineer.

Pls don't change anything on my connection, this is great!

First time no issues with my account....

If you had no response to your tickets, then I would say whatever fixed (and probably caused) the issue was outside of Exetel. Perhaps maintenance at the exchange, or on supplier infrastructure?

Either way, yes, let's hope your stable connection and speeds remain and thanks for the update

I don't know if this helps but it seems that once it goes after midnight there is a big slowdown. I think it is caused by a bottleneck effect when large amounts of data is being downloaded by people taking advantage of offpeak.
