Update: Residential support replied that they reset the port as well as reallocating the IP address.

Just had a total loss of service for an hour or two, back again now. Hope this experience isn't indicative of local ADSL2+ QOS - though I understand the commercial reasons for moving to ADSL2+, I was very happy with ADSL1.
