Looks like all the forum mods have taken the day off. Either that or they dont know what the problem is. Im guessing the latter.

Two different services on 2 different PC's at 2 different locations.

Same thing happening to me for Warcraft TFT (on BA)

I was a perfect IDL host for the past 6 months.

Up until two days ago, i can't even host or play. I get spikes and lag issues every 20 seconds or so.

This is really frustrating :(

Although i checked my download speeds, and they seem to be fine (1MB/sec) when downloading...

So don't know whats up :(

Please help!!! I miss DotA

I not an expert but it seems there is a problem with Exetel servers.
Hope we get some response soon to this problem.

I would've thought we could've had an update for this now that it's been going on for two full days.

yes, not even a comment from the mods to deny or confirm anything. Must be a lot of head scatching going on.

Can a Mod please just let us know the tech's are looking into it?

We have had no reply here and no response from my Tech Support Ticket.

What gives?

I just got a response from Support asking me to supply them the results to 50 Ping tests, to better assist in troubleshooting. I don't really feel like wasting my time doing this, when it is obviously not an issue directly related to my setup but to a recent change in the infrastructure.

Hopefully you guys get this sorted soon, thanks for the response.

WilliamC,
Thanks for the response. It is good to know that it is being looked into. It is still an issue for me, so I am eagerly looking forward to more updates.

Hi Guys,

From initial observations checking the eBGP configuration to our internation carrier Optus it seemed like even though the configuration was there we were not totally balancing the traffic to them via the community strings sufficiently.

For some reason the config was not in effect. I have performed further changes to assist in balancing the new ip blocks accross the 4 community strings provided. I have requested from Optus a graph showing previous levels of traffic in hopes to confirm my concerns of balancing.

Experiencing the same thing. also got the request from support for 50 ping tests - Ping tests to gateway and exetel IP come up normal - did about 5 to 10 and didnt see the point in continuing as results were consistent.

Warcraft latency still horrible - averaged 400ms prior to IP change, now averaging 1500-3000ms (as of 7.50pm Friday night).
