I have change nothing on my end. There doesnt appear to be any current issues on the network. Anyone else in Vic still having issues connecting?

Is the ADSL light on the modem solid?
Try leaving the modem off for 15 minutes, then powering it back on, in case the tunnel locked up.

yes having the exact same issue too, in launceston tasmania.

am able to connect to exetel (hence how i'm able to post this) and google but not much else (next to nothing else).

edit: have also restarted multiple times, will try leaving modem off for 15mins.
the dsl light is solid green, the internet line is flashing in a regular on/off pattern (not the usual data transfer flashing i'd say).

+1 To a friend in Churchill VIC, he has done a 25 min power cycle with no joy & cannot see the auth attempts through the service tools.

Damn I wish I'd read this first - I think this might be the problem I'm having but assumed it was a weird password issue. I've now updated my password but can't get into my modem settings to update it there too! doh!

Yep, another here... Ballarat, so its pretty widespread by the sounds of it. Everything seems fine but just wont connect, modem stating its waiting for response. Power cycled 15+ mins three times. I'm not annoyed at exetel cause really people have only started reporting the issue in the last helf hour or so.

This is just a note to say that I'm experiencing the same thing (limited connectivity, along the lines of Juskym's post), and I'm in Hobart.

A completely useless response to my support request given I acknowledged the outage and their 'fix' of rebooting my modem/router in my original support request.

Dear Sir

Thank you for your e-mail.

Please visit the following link on our forums for further information with regard to this scheduled outage.

I have about had it with this ISP between my 400 - 700ms ping times and my 25kbps download speeds on an 8mb connection. I wonder how long until I get a useful reply.
