No internet except Exetel? (BNE)

Hi. I'm in Brisbane with Naked ADSL2. At the moment I can't get any internet (whereis.com.au, internode.com.au, google.com.au) except exetel site. Anyone else have these problems, or know the cause? Just started about 15-20 minutes ago I think. Restarted modem, and diagnostics all come up good. Maybe DNS problem? or..?

Thanks,

Craig

Ditto... in Brisbane too. news.com.au still works, interestingly. Traffic graphs seem to indicate everything went down at 7am.

Same here, I though it is only me that experiencing no-connection problem due to my contract ending problem. Long weekend with no internet, what a good occasion

Same for me. I'm in Townsville but my VOIP number is a Brisbane number so probably all related to the same problem. Some pages will load after 10 minutes but most time out and don't load at all.

Can we get confirmation that this is being looked at?

hi all,
we had the same problem here on the sunshine coast. changed DNS Server address in modem to google: IP Address: 8.8.8.8 & Server: 8.8.4.4 & Domain Name: exetel.com.au
all works fine now.

I don't think mine is a DNS problem. nslookup still seems to work fine, but when I do a tracert it dies after leaving exetel network..?

The only setting I can find on my modem is to change the primary DNS and secondary DNS ... when I change them to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 I get no result.

Think the problem has been solved now - still on normal settings and my connection appears to have returned to normal.

Doesn't work here. I had to change back to exetel DNS to post this :(

No connectivity outside exetel for me:

[root@atom ~]# traceroute google.com
traceroute: Warning: google.com has multiple addresses; using 66.102.11.147
traceroute to google.com (66.102.11.147), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets

I still got almost no connection, no yahoo msr, no p2p, but some pages are loading. Is there anything have to play with my router's settings?

Southside Brisbane here. I have no connectivity except for exetel.com.au. I have tried alternate DNS servers (google & OpenDNS) however dns does not appear to be the problem. The names are resolving to IP addresses but I cannot reach those IPs via a ping.
