Terrible speeds from download.microsoft.com
Terrible speeds from download.microsoft.com
It has only come to my attention this afternoon that any download from download.microsoft.com is terribly slow, when usually they are quite fast (I'm assuming because they are fed from Akamai).
Is anyone else having these troubles?

Re: Terrible speeds from download.microsoft.com
My download at near max line speed was not encumbered by a filter. It's a safe site, so what happens if you disable malware filtering? (My traceroute gets ave 31 ms, by a different route)
Re: Terrible speeds from download.microsoft.com
I've just fired up the Ubuntu VM to see what the results from wget were... here's what it showed.

Edit: can you get a better speed using multiple connections in axel?
