Query - change from INC2DLSA to OTAA

G'day I'm currently on Inc2DLSA and looking to change to OTAA because it gives me higher usage with a $7 per mth saving (I believe).
My query: with Inc2 I incur a $3 Admin fee and $1 CC charge. Do these apply to OTAA? I can't find it on the website.

Many Thanks

I believe you'll find the credit card fee is always applicable on an account, the admin fee is built in though not on top of, details of applicable charges are listed at the bottom of this page http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing ... hp#toggle3

Thanks, seems like a 'no brainer' to me. There's nothing else I need to be aware of is there?

Many Thanks

A reduced off-peak interval.

Not sure what you are on right now (12-12, 2-12, etc) but the OTAA is 4am-10am.

Actually, it is now OTL-A: $10 cheaper still (the bundled price has reduce from what looks like $53 total to $43 total) and the quota is now 50GB/180GB

Thanks for the reply. OTLA was the only option I had in "Change Services" and I've received acknowledgement from Residential Support this morning.
I'm always happy to take a saving. Do I need to do anything to take advantage of OTL-A?

Many Thanks

Not sure what you mean by this. OT plans are standard bundled ADSL, meaning everything is normal (same modem, same PSTN phone equipment, same modem settings, etc). Change will automatically be effected on the 1st of the month. You shouldn't even need to do a modem reboot as it is purely a billing change.

Sorry what I was asking was would I automatically be moved to this lower priced plan or would I need to make a request / re-apply to take advantage of this plan?

FYI I have sent an email to residential support so I'll await their response.

Many Thanks

You need to explicitly request a plan change (for instance, to indicate your acceptance of the shorter off-peak period). You can do this via your member facilities and then everything will changeover at the start of next month.

I think there is a $20 plan change fee, but this is waived if you commence a new contract.

We appear to be at cross purposes.
FWIW I have applied for a change to OTAA from INC2DLSA and Residential Support acknowledged that request. You then advised me that OTL-A was available @ a further reduced cost and I was asking how I could take advantage of that because it does not appear as an option in member facilities.
FYI Residential Support have since advised that they've forwarded my request to the Sales team for their action/response. I'll await their response.

Many Thanks

We introduced new plans. Please log in to your members area to see the new plan details.

I've just checked (again) and OTL-A does not appear. I'll wait until tomorrow to see if it updates overnight with the new plans.

Many Thanks

Ah. Righto.

Yes. If you already have a plan change in process (INC2DSL -> OTAA) then in order to cancel that and replace it with a new plan change (INC2DSL -> OTLA), you'll need to go through residential support / sales (which you are doing at the moment and since there is plenty of time between now and the new month I reckon it'll work out OK). I don't think that OTAA -> OTL-A will happen automatically. From historical experience, if plans are updated and they keep their same code all users are automatically upgraded. Otherwise, you usually retain your original plan's features and need to apply (with a plan change fee, but no extension of contract) if you want to change over.

Please see that we introduced the OTL plans today and it will take about couple of weeks for us to make it available in the secure members area for existing customers to change over. Though you put the request to change plans today or by the end of the month, its only going to be changed from the first of the following month. So bear with us until we make it available.
