Upgraded to ADSL2 but still have ADSL1 speed
I've recently applied for and been transferred to the TCV20-REGION-200 plan. However a speed test using http://www.ozspeedtest.com/ still showing ADSL1 speed. Test result

When did your plan change?
The last line in the confirmation email entitled Exetel Has Received Your Change ADSL Plan Request says:
I'm currently waiting for my line speed to change over, can't wait!

This delay is due to the Easter break and Telstra is currently clearing their backlog.

Yeh same here have changed to ADSL2 plan has been upgraded on the site but I guess due to the long weekend we will have to wait for Helstra to go back to work on Tuesday.

last month I applied to transfer from ADSL 1 8000k to ADSL2 - about 2 weeks later I rec a reply that no change could be made due to technical reasons (not given) I am on the Thirroul exchange where Telstra has ADSL2 but I don't think Optus does.
