ADSL1 to ADSL2 TCV20-REGION-200 SLOW SLOW!!

Hi All

Posting this for a friend.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what is going on. He had an Exetel ADSL1 plan and was getting super solid 1500 connection all the time no problems for years. At the beginning of this month he changed over to ADSL 2 TCV20-REGION-200 and the modem is still syncing at 1536kbps Down and 256kbps up.

This is only half the problem. When he does a speedtest.net he gets 0.21Mbps down and .11Mbps up which is bloody ridiculous.

Does anyone have any ideas as obviously he was better off with the ADSL 1 plan.

Things we have tried.

Unplugged the only handset in the house.
Changed the modem phone cable.
Removed filter from handset line.
Reset Modem to defaults and re-entered all info.

Can someone from exetel check the port or something??

Should add the Modem is a DGN2000 which works perfectly at my house.

There appears to be a provisioning issue with your service. I have advised a provisioning person to investigate and resolve the matter.

I have a confirmation from the provisioning team that the necessary corrections were made. Can you restart you modem and confirm if the issue persists.
