Tasmania browsing issue

Post by Kamma » Wed Oct 31, 2012 5:57 pm

Sorry if this was the wrong forum for this message, wasn't sure where to post it. I noticed in the outage update thread "Browsing Issue - TAS" that this issue is suspected to be resolved, however my browsing and download speeds are still just as terrible as they have been all week.

Appreciate the updates with ETR etc, hoping this is solved very soon.

Appreciate it Wrath, good to know it's not some magical problem with my internal network all of a sudden. :P

I’m on the Taroona exchange and problem still not resolved for me. However I have carried out WilliamC’s suggested modem change MTU=1400 (see his post viewtopic.php?f=296&t=39797#p302792). After changing MTU my speed went from 0.2Mbits/s to 3.0Mbits/s so worthwhile temp improvement and I recommend others give it try until main issue is resolved.
