Slow Speeds

Post by user13 » Fri Nov 23, 2012 7:43 pm

I've noticed that over the past few weeks my internet speed is getting slower and slower:

[`[*Test Results from <a href="http://www.ozspeedtest.com/bandwidth-te ... 787251">Oz Broadband Speed Test</a>*]`]
[(----------------------------------
Test run on [*23/11/2012*] @ [*07:42 PM*])]

[(Mirror: [*Exetel*]
Data: [*3 MB*]
Test Time: [*2.94 secs*])]

[(Your line speed is [*8.32 Mbps*] (8324 kbps).
Your download speed is [*1.02 MB/s*] (1040 KB/s). )]

Not sure what I can do to fix this problem.

Hi,

I have checked your account and there appears to be no issue with your current profile.

There for could you please connect your modem directly to the wall socket without any filters and retest the speed. Make sure that you are using an Ethernet cable and if you still experiencing slow speeds, please send the results to 'residentialsupport@exetel.com.au' for further investigations.
To Log a fault ticket, please click click here or alternatively call Exetel VOIP numbers (02) 8030 1000 or 1300 788 141 (log faults 24x7)
