Any way to see that status of plan change?
Hey guys, I have recently found out that Bigpound now allows me to get ADSL2 - was always stuck with ADSL.
I looked into it and still preferred the exetel prices over them so thought I would just change plan.. But I can't see anywhere to check if it was accepted/rejected or what stage it was on.
Can someone give me direction on how I can get it checked please?
Only reason is it's coming to the end of the month and would like to try and get ADSL2 hooked before the end of next month.

should show in your user facilities if it went through, I changed plans not long ago and what I wanted wasn't shown but just called up sales and they did everything over the phone, very easy and went through without a hitch

The plan change will generally come into effect at the start of you next billing cycle.enterthefray wrote:Will the 'PENDING' change at the first of the month ?? if not .. would i need to wait till next month to get ADSL2

If you could PM me your service number I could have a look at the exact dates for you.

Your plan should change over on the 28th of March as this will be the start of your new billing cycle .enterthefray wrote:PM has been sent.

as far as I know what you're showing there is what it should be showing, never known it to be different to that, status pending is normal until it comes into effect
just in case you were't already aware your plan details should roll over and show your updated plan on that date but the physical changeover can take (up to) 2 business days to get done, it requires a tech to go to the exchange so work load is often the determining factor as to how soon after, I changed plans recently and it went through on the same day, first time I've had that happen but I think it was just a slow workday for the tech, was done about 8am, given the up to 2 business day time frame and the coming Easter break it could take a bit longer until you're changed over, hopefully not but worth a mention anyway

Thanks Jokiin, just did a speedtest before I went to work .. got .99MB Download ... hopefully that changes soon
Re: Any way to see that status of plan change?
sometimes you need to reboot your modem to pickup the new settings, I think that depends what type of connection you were on though, worth a reboot to check thoughenterthefray wrote:Thanks Jokiin, just did a speedtest before I went to work .. got .99MB Download ... hopefully that changes soon
if it doesn't happen today then it would likely happen Tuesday I suspect
