no sync

Post by Godde » Fri Jul 26, 2013 7:13 pm

Hi guys, I am not getting sync at my new place after relocation. In the members area it says cutover completed on the 22th. The status page says scheduled for 25th. I called today after getting no sync last night the guy said tonight before 7 pm it will be done. So far none of the information I got from exetel holds up.

Can someone have another look for me please and provide some realistic information?

My number is 0731623946. Thanks.

Thanks guys. Talked to the tech last night.

It seems like your system really screwed me this time. Our landline is still under Telstra 2 weeks after my application and God knows how much longer it will take for my connection to become active.

What bothers me is that all the provisioning and technicians I talked to on the phone promised wonderful thing which turned out to be false. If I didn't post on the forum as soon as I realise they are not competent enough, I can't imagine how long it would drag on for until they really looked into my application.

We have been with you guys since 2004 and have recommended exetel to many friends over the years. The service was always top-notch, they save money and I look good. But now I have to seriously reconsider if I can recommend exetel.

HI "Godde",

Note that a Tech Appointment has been organized on the "30/07 during 08:00 - 12:00". Therefore please kindly be in attendance during this time frame. If you wishes to re-schedule this, please kindly contact Exetel and quote the same Ref "6893620".

Yeah that's fine and booked in.

So the tech visit can connect my ADSL on the day? Not really sure what's going on right now.

Regards
Michael

Yes since it is an appointment scheduled, there is a high percentage of getting the service connected up to the MDF supplier end. However we need to wait until the field visit finds the exact issue.

Thanks Kavinda, that would be really nice.

We are heavy web-addicts and already showing withdrawal syndrome. :O~
