ADSL not working - no dial tone

My ADSL went down yesterday and I found that I also had no dial tone. I have reported the fault to Telstra (Telstra phone, Exetel ADSL) and have let them know that there is non-Telstra ADSL on that line that has also stopped working.

Do I need to report a fault with Exetel as well?

Personally, I'd just let Telstra investigate the "no dial tone" issue first. Quite likely that the ADSL will re-sync once the dial tone is restored. If not, try a power cycle (turn off for about 10 seconds, turn back on again) of your modem before logging an Exetel fault.
