Poor Speed

Post by aaronr » Sat Aug 30, 2014 10:46 am

Hi

I am a new customer and I have just got my service activated and im getting terrible speed. Im only about 1km from the exchange(the way the crow flies).

http://www.exetel.com.au/speed/dsl/resu ... recorded=1

Your current bandwidth reading is:
3.50 Mbps
which means you can download at 448.08 KB/sec. from our servers.

My line attenuation rate hints that the actual cable distance is about 2.5km but even at that distance I should still be able to sync at around 10mbs

Hi aaronr,

Could you please send your service details to residentialsupport@exetel.com.au, So we could test the line status and advise you on troubleshooting.

Cheers !
