Very slow ADSL2+ Hurstville

I had a look into your line stats and downstream sync rate is low and that will affect the transfer rate. I have sent you an email (Ticket Ref : 7949117) with the required troubleshooting to move ahead on this.

Interesting Jim. Are you on Optus lines? Have you got this resolved and or speed improved?

I'm also in the Hurstville Exchange and have experienced a drastic speed decrease in the past few months. I should be getting 15 Mbps (which is what I was getting 1 year ago and nothing has changed inside my house since then) but last night was only getting max 3 Mbps (and this is regularly the case now).

I've actually started a new thread related directly to all speed issues and am urging anyone having issues to post the results there - ideally using ongoing speed tests from the web site http://testmy.net/ as that site allows automatic speed testing every 15 mins and logs it all so it can be accessed as a table with a graph giving a clear indication of speed changes throughout the day....

If you are willing to help build a case I posted the details in the thread as below:-
