We have done few changes to your service from our end, please check with the modem restarted and also check whether the ADSL mode on your router is manually set as we could notice the modulation is at ADSL 1 (G.dmt) . If so set it to automatic and check whether there is an improvement. If it persist, give us a ring quoting the reference# 8358618.

Same problem. I notice it only occurs in Peak period 9am to 1am. Off peak 1am to 9am all is good.
Synch Speed is good. This is in isolation with nothing else connected to any of the phone wall outlets
Modem is set to Automatic meaning all ADSL mode boxes are ticked

Re: Very very slow ADSL in Pyrmont NSW
As the issue persists an email has been forwarded to you under the same reference number. Please respond to that with the required tests so we could get this issue checked with our Supplier.adrian75 wrote:Same problem. I notice it only occurs in Peak period 9am to 1am. Re: Very very slow ADSL in Pyrmont NSW
Exetel,
I can confirm that this is also happening out of the Warilla Exchange. I already logged a call about this last night and have been through all the speed test stuff including the batch file results that you requested of me.
This morning I tested with speedtest.net and was getting 600+kB/s tonight 80kB/s. This is clearly an Exetel issue as I notice I am not the only one with these symptoms.
This is not a single user issue and therefore has nothing to do with our modems.

Re: Very very slow ADSL in Pyrmont NSW
Could you please conduct few speed tests via http://speedtest.nsw.exetel.com.au/ and post the results into the thread viewtopic.php?f=284&t=41345&p=311032#p311032 so we can have this investigated further. Try the test both in the morning and afternoon and update us with the results.Chibrichish wrote:Exetel,

Re: Very very slow ADSL in Pyrmont NSW
I've actually started a new thread related directly to all speed issues and am urging anyone having issues to post the results there - ideally using ongoing speed tests from the web site http://testmy.net/ as that site allows automatic speed testing every 15 mins and logs it all so it can be accessed as a table with a graph giving a clear indication of speed changes throughout the day....
If you are willing to help build a case I posted the details in the thread as below:-
viewtopic.php?f=284&t=41348
Thanks.....
