I have had no Internet in West Wollongong since about 10pm last night, but I'm not even getting a DSL sync.

Restart didn't fix it but it did come back around 4:30pm on it's own.

Thanks :D

Hi,

we have experienced the same sort of issues across the last week in Hornsby NSW. In all cases the modem does not lose its connection however there was no authentication. The Internet connection would die unexpectedly and then come back without any change on our end. This is happening quite regularly. Last night our connection dropped around 7.30pm and was down for the rest of the evening. This morning the connection was working. Today our Internet dropped out for a few minutes and it started working after a few minutes.

These drop outs are very annoying. I do not believe the drop outs are being caused by changes or issues on the customer's end. If they were then why does the Internet drop out without any changes on the customer's end and then start up again without any changes on the customers end.

Please Exetel, fix this issue if its in your power to do so. If its a wholesaler issue please get onto them. These issues are doing untold damage to your reputation and will drive customers away.

We have gone through few immediate network maintenance so the impact can be minimized. Apparently, we are monitoring the situation so the fix can be confirmed to everyone.

Yeah nah - Exetel, the Corrimal exchange just died. Authentication issues again.

This is getting ridiculous. As loyal Exetel customers, that have raved to friends about the value for money with this place, switching ISPs looks mighty attractive about now.

11.00am unable to Authenticate,Exetel down at Figtree off the Wollongong exchange.

11.05am Now the phone is not working, no dial tone, just beeping.

The ADSL light remains solid on modem.

Did stand alone test for both phone and modem, have also done factory reset on modem, error remains.

Have already raised ticket by email.
