Drop outs and slow speeds - 6149

Hi

Want to know if there are any issues with Bullcreek/Bateman?

Have been home the past two days and notice intermittant dropouts (at least two this morning) and VERY slow speeds.

After the dropouts of January I have been okay in Februray

Though last night I had 8 peak dropouts
DSL Uptime 21 days

Hve just done a modem reset (power off/disconnect) and the speed is now:

When compared with the distance and sync rate, this is pretty much within acceptable range.

I appreciate that, however why am I getting dropouts - at least 2 more this afternoon and why the 'super-slow' speeds? There must be something happening within the exchange(s) because this is far from isolated - many people are suffering the same issues.

Yes, it drops out and re-synchs again.

Try another modem maybe

DSL sync loss is either line quality or modem

Brand new modem, 3 - 4 weeks old therefore I don't be;ieve it is a modem issue.

Looks like you have already had a stability profile enabled

Telstra says no know issues for that postcode

Have you tried an isolation test?

Firstly I appreciate the assistance given by your rep on 12Mar13 in stabilising my connection.
However I request that someone in Exetel respond to my subsequent emails (12Mar14 & 13Mar14) where I've provided additional Speedtest results and have requested further investigation and assistance with the 'unusable' slow speeds.
