being shaped?

Post by duncanm » Fri May 15, 2015 11:40 pm

We hit our limit last month and looked like we got shaped - 1MB/s. Fine.

I changed plans to unlimited, and the rollover (and usual monthly payment) date was 13May, but I still appear to be stuck on shaping (now the 15th). My user page reflects the new plan

Modem sync is ~4300/816 kbps (we're a fair way from the exchange, this is a typical figure for us), but both speedtest.net and http://speedtest.exetel.com.au/ consistently return 900/700 (ish) kpbs.

I've tried both speed tests at various quiet times of the day, and the 900 is consistent.

(yes I've rebooted the modem, and I've also changed IP)

fixed - thanks.

~3.5Mbps down speed now - much more aligned with the sync speed.
