ADSL outage in NSW?

Hi there,

Is there an issue with ADSL or authentication atm? At 12:28 am on 13/09/2017 my ADSL connection was lost and any attempt by my modem to authenticate fails. ADSL link light is on & solid.

Looks like the authentication services have crashed again. This seems to be happening every few months now.
Service failing to login in for me as well at NRYD 2122

I agree with Mort. I have been with Exetel for over 10 years and never had a problem with auth (i.e. ADSL ok, lost PPP) in the early days, but increasingly more and more so over the past few years.

For me, PPP dropped out again this morning here in Hornsby at 00:27 but recovered, now I have no PPP at all since 08:16. ADSL sync is fine, just no PPP.

Exetel, could you confirm any issues please and if it is being investigated?

Seems to have started working again in the last half hour. Looks like it went down around 3am.

PPP has returned at 08:57.

It's odd that PPP goes down at different times for different people. PPP was fine between 12:27am - 8:16am for me.

Any Blue Mountains people have probs?
I've had my internet (which is normally rock solid) cutting in and out all afternoon. :-(

I had a brief check and cannot find any notifications with that suburb. Monitor the service and if the issue still persisting, PM me your service number and I will check with the line conditions.
