Looks like something happened around midnight and it's been stable since.

21.06.19 23:45:49 Internet connection established successfully. IP address: 220.233.10.156, DNS server: 220.233.0.3 and 220.233.0.4, gateway: 220.233.1.149, broadband PoP: riv801.ba-B226
21.06.19 23:45:48 Internet connection cleared.
21.06.19 23:30:10 Internet connection established successfully. IP address: 220.233.10.156, DNS server: 220.233.0.4 and 220.233.0.3, gateway: 220.233.1.150, broadband PoP: riv801.ba-B226
21.06.19 23:30:08 Internet connection cleared.

speed is now

connected since 22.06.2019, 07:34

Throughput: ↓ 1,5 Mbit/s ↑ 256 kbit/s

and surprise surprise... the "please leave a message" on the tech support phone number is broken. Or full and they haven't bothered to clean the messages out.

So I live with that speed all weekend. Sigh, I remember when the dreadful support hours were OK cos Exetel was reliable.

Got an SMS saying "upstream has fixed".

Maybe they did do something because it was stable overnight.

Not stable now though.

Not even at "connected↓ 1,4 Mbit/s↑ 465 kbit/s"

I note it has been stable overnight before only to flappity flap come morning. So maybe upstream just said they did something to get the ticket closed. WOuldn't be the first time someone's done that.

11 days and counting Exetel. Many of those days at 1.4-1.5 speeds and still useless. And bugger all communication from you in response to my emails. With phone wait times of well over an hour phone communication is out.

finally! on the 14 day anniversary we have what might actually be a stable ADSL connection at a vaguely usable speed.

Well.. one disconnection in 3 hours I'll take what I can get!

MInd you half the internet seems to be missing but that might be some upstream connection gone bad we shall see
