Flora/Fauna donations question.

Post by Shadowcats » Mon Feb 04, 2008 6:33 pm

Hello everyone.
I decided to make some small donation to this and thought they would start to be taken out
of my CC card at the same time as my normal adsl invoice.
But checking it for this month there are no extra charges taken out?
I double checked the donations page and it still shows the amount I selected for diff projects so I know I did that part right.
I know you said it started in Feb and presumed it would start Feb 1st or around that date OR will it be billed around March 1st?
Thanks for any and all replies to my question.

I apologise for the delay in sending an update.

You will receive an email advising you of the month start dates for each of the projects later this week.

It wasn't possible to complete the paperwork before 1st February.

Thank you ForumAdmin for the quick reply.
I was just wondering as I'm always vigilant in checking what goes in and out of my credit card and presumed deductions would start 1st Feb.
Thank you again for the update. :)

I can't believe how slack people are in donating.
You can now view the amounts that have been donated in the members area.
I'd expect all the Pioneer users to be donating at least part of their discount away!

Maybe the lack of donations is simply reflective that Exetel's prices reflect what people believe is a fair price to pay for the service received, and everyone else are just overcharging for whatever reasons (inflated wholesale margin, greed, etc)?

It could just be a rather large case of 'I really couldn't be bothered'.

I've just updated mine ... only a small amount, but I've just realised that 'leading by example' is a good thing and for me to winge would be somewhat hipocritical if I didn't. So I'd urge ... $1 or $2 people!

For those kind people who have authorised donations you should see a separate line item on this month's invoice for the amount by project that you have agreed to support.

Good to see this initiative taking off.
