Fair use for business plans.

Post by Munka » Sat Jan 09, 2010 3:36 pm

Hi
I am signing up some friends (small business owners) for a business ADSL1 plan and have some questions about fair use/acceptable use.

The business is a small motel and the intention is to set up a wifi hotspot for motel customers only, and charge customers a nominal fee, some thing in the order of 50c for 500MB, is this considered acceptable use? So largely non profit (though I note that is 100% markup) but charging an admin fee.

Also as they offer a 24hr service are there any restrictions of usage ie - I seem to recall earlier business plans had like a 7am to 7pm restriction, or am I dreaming that.
Any time of day restrictions.

There are no such restrictions.

There used to be business plans with 7 am to 7 pm peak times.
