Another plan change fee query
Another plan change fee query
My current TE-2D ADSL2 (Telstra) plan comes out of contract 01Mar and I have been previously told the $10/month price rise for old plans will commence for me then.
As a result I checked the current plans that I can move to but I'm bit confused by the plan change fee.
ADSL1 no contract $40 fee, 6 or 12 month contract $0 fee
ADSL2 12 month contract $40 fee
How is it I can get a fee free move back to ADSL1 yet to stay on ADSL2 it is $40 ?
I'm further puzzled as the initial Change Plan screen says the ADSL2 move is fee free but once I hit Apply the fee appears on the next page.
Thank you

Re: Another plan change fee query
To move back to ADSL1, it is $40.00 for keeping the current contract. It is $0.00 for renew 6 months contract.
To keep the current ADSL2, it is $40.00 for plan change fee.

Re: Another plan change fee query
If i renew my contract on adsl2 it seems strange the fee isn't waived they way it is on adsl1

Hi Raymond
Thank you for the time looking at this.
I have responded to your email.
Here's my problem,
On the first page of changing service it's fee free

On the next page it jumps to $40

Re: Another plan change fee query
Well, now that I've actually ordered the change it says $0 plan change fee.
No issue it seems.
Sorry for the time wasting.

Re: Another plan change fee query
Great!
Checked my invoice this morning and the $40 fee has been applied.
Even after this final confirmation of no fee http://www.postimg.com/30000/29179.jpg
Inconsistent information throughout the plan change process is not pleasant.

Re: Another plan change fee query
I have been billed the $40 plan change fee too. I have emailed billing, hopefully this can be corrected before direct debit occurs.
