Locations Affected : Nowra and Surrounding Suburbs, NSW

Products Impacted : Fibre

Event Start Time : 11/07/2019, 12:35 AEST

Estimated Time of Resolution : We are unable to provide an Estimated time of Restoration at this stage

Root cause : The root cause is unfortunately unavailable at this stage

Additional Information : Most customers in the above mentioned area may experience loss of connectivity

Update:

The Outage is still ongoing.

Supplier : The wholesale supplier for the impacted services is NBN.

Root cause : A suspected Optic Fibre damage between Pymble and Homebush

Estimated Time of Resolution: Our wholesale supplier is unable to provide us with an Estimated time of resolution as of yet

The Outage is still ongoing.

Supplier : NBN.

Root cause : Technicians investigating a suspected optic fibre damage between Pymble and Homebush

Estimated Time of Resolution: Our wholesale supplier is unable to provide us with an Estimated time of resolution as of yet

Most of the reported services are now online.

We are still following up with the Wholesale Supplier for confirmation.

As per the wholesale Supplier services are online due to a temporary fix however they are planning on a maintenance window on Monday night to apply the permanent fix.

All the reported services are online currenlty.

Update

The supplier has confirmed that during last night's maintenance window, 120 of 312 fibres have been successfully repaired. The rest of the repair work will proceed during tonight's maintenance window.

All the reported services are currently online due to a temporary fix. Please power cycle your modem / router and check if issues persist. Exetel apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Our supplier advises that the scheduled work has been successfully completed, we are still awaiting for final confirmation

All Services should now be online Kindly power cycle your modem/ router and test the service.

The supplier has confirmed that Fibre cutover has now been completed for Fibres 1 through to 240. The remaining cutover for Fibres 241-312 is to be completed during tonight's maintenance window (18th July).

All the reported services are currently online due to a temporary fix. Please power cycle your modem / router and check if issues persists.
