i keep getting a system error
The program can`t start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Download the ZIP folder from the attachment below (I've kindly attached it to this thread to make it easier) and extract. Copy the msvcr71.dll file directly to your C:\Program Files\eXeSMS folder and the error should be fixed.

Brilliant, Thanks JamesR, fixed it for me too, ExeSMS would run, It'd just not be able to send sms's... and pop up that missing file error.

For 2.1 and W7 it might be an association & path problem; see http://social.answers.microsoft.com/For ... 7cb7e6cbff

The older one is the Montaro app, and there is a simple workaround. It is trying to check a non-functioning web address. All you have to do is place this line in your hosts file:

Code: Select all

127.0.0.1 www.montarotech.net
(see http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.ph ... c2#p266737)
