I'm taking my laptop to various locations and using different networks/ip addresses.
Whenever I go to send an SMS from a different network I'm asked for an additional password.
Is there any way I can have this additional password request turned off?
Mobile Web SMS
Re: Mobile Web SMS
Sorry, we do this as a security measure, and I don't see this level of security being removed.
Re: Mobile Web SMS
If you use a browser interface for SMS, you can often configure the browser to reply to multiple password requests. This forum for example, requires a double login.
Re: Mobile Web SMS
Or you can just tunnel your exetel traffic back thru your home network, which is what I do, that way exetel thinks the traffic is local and I don't get asked for a password. If you are used to using ssh and have a ssh server at home then it is easy to setup.

Fair enough.LarryK wrote: we do this as a security measure
Are there any desktop apps then that I can use with my Exetel account?
What I'm hoping to find is a way of sending SMS's from the desktop without entering passwords after the app has been set up. Like the way that I use an SMS app on my android and once the password settings are entered, that's it.
Something like this for example...
