There is an error in the Lite Agent application form.

Subsection relating to bank details:

"receive" rather than "recieve"

The contract length for the HB Additional Mobile Telephony Service for the HSPA plans is shown as 12 months on both HSPA order forms (the one on the website and the one in the Member's Facilites "Order HSPA from Exetel"). The website says that it should be 24 months, and this has also been confirmed in this thread: http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=308&t=30008

Which would be a point of contention should I want to cancel/transfer plans, not that I'm that way inclined at the moment.

2 things...

The HSPA Terms and Conditions list a $3 admin fee but this thread states that no stand-alone HSPA customers will be charged the $3.

Also, forBusiness ADSL2+ plans, it states "All Exetel Business ADSL2 Plans have an initial contract period of 12 months. If for whatever reason, the service is canceled before the end of six months then a $100.00 early termination charge is incurred". Shouldn't it read "service is canceled before the end of twelve months"?

These are backwards (the 2nd date on each line).

I was under the impression that Business plans are "total Gb" with no peak/offpeak split/quota. Therefore, should this be here at all on anything other than the Residential ADSLx plans?

9. Downloads in the 12 midnight to 12 noon period
o 9.1) These conditions apply from 1st February 2008 until further notice for ADSL1, ADSL2 plans that have an initial service period of 12 months and Wireless plans that have an initial service period of 30 days:
+ a) All references to time are Eastern Standard Time or Eastern Summer (Daylight) Time when that applies.
+ b) Exetel will endeavour to provide sufficient internet bandwidth between the hours of 12 noon to 12 midnight each day (Peak Period) to avoid congestion during those hours.
+ c) In the event that any Customer downloads more than 54gb during the Off Peak Period in any calendar month, Exetel will charge the excess usage at $3.00 per gb or part thereof unless they are under the speed shaping option found in the user facilities.
+ d) Exetel may at any time change or cancel the time periods during which downloads by a Customer will not be counted towards the quota for downloads under the Customer's Service plan or modify the amount of downloads permitted for a Customer so long as the Customer's Service plan is complied with.

Hi Guys,

The signup page for Mobile plans (https://www.exetel.com.au/mobile/mobile_online_form.php) still has "A surcharge of $3.00 is added to all monthly access charges for both Credit Card and Direct Debit Payments."

I thought the $3 charge didn't apply to the mobile plans...??

Thanks Shady.

I also just noticed that the Mobile sign up form does not have an area to enter Direct Debit details, it only has a section for Credit Card details. Can direct debit be used for mobile plans?

B09 plan - Vodafone Cap. When I hit the "View Detailed Summary" from the home page, I get told "You cannot view telephone record". However when I go via "Mobile" then "Mobile Meter" then "View" it works. Could it be an errant $ sign in <option value="$mobile_service_number">0415939653</option> ? On the page that works it is <OPTION VALUE="0415939653">0415939653</OPTION> .

The page that doesn't work: https://www.exetel.com.au/business_members/home.php
The page that does work: https://www.exetel.com.au/business_memb ... mobile.php

Cheers
