login not working

Post by VK » Sat Oct 27, 2007 1:29 pm

The following "chain of clicks" leads to nowhere:

http://www.exetel.com.au/
http://www.exetel.com.au/res_main.php
http://www.exetel.com.au/voip_planA.php
http://www.exetel.com.au/o_voip.php
https://www.exetel.com.au/members/index.php

After I supply a service number and a password I get nothing.

Later I figured that the last URL should have been:

https://www.exetel.com.au/members/home.php

You should fix (at least) http://www.exetel.com.au/o_voip.php.

Cheers

I have been logging into Exetel for years with no problem until the last few days when I have been getting a blank screen. I made all of the adjustments to IE as instructed with no result. I then used VK's

https://www.exetel.com.au/members/home.php
short cut and it went straight into my monthly usage page without me having to perform a separate login??. (I was already logged into Exetel from another computer on my network at the time.

Dont understand what has changed for my primary computer but thanks VK for the solution.

Login issues

Same deal - my erstwhile bookmarked login page no longer works other than to provide a blank page. Worked until I believe Friday.

Now have to login from Exetel's home page.

This url produces the blank page:

https://www.exetel.com.au/members/index.php

I just checked both the links just then using Firefox. Each of https://www.exetel.com.au/members/home.php and https://www.exetel.com.au/members/index.php show the login screen correctly, but only the former continues to log me onto the User Facilities correctly. The second (index.php) logs in but then just results in a blank screen.

Yep, you are correct CoreyPlover - from trev's email I thought he got a blank page when initially loading the page, not after entering his log-in details, which is why I didn't actually try to log in on either page.

For an added wrinkle, if you use
https://www.exetel.com.au/members/index.php
to log in (and get a blank page for your trouble) and then immediately go to
https://www.exetel.com.au/members/home.php
you find you are already logged in :D

I believe this is the behaviour that tycannah reported earlier in this thread.

Thanks everyone for the troubleshooting, I'll let Exetel know.

Cheers

Logging in from the main Exetel website at http://www.exetel.com.au is working fine also; if you don't mind the non-secure entry.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the pick-up.

The issue has no been resolved. Login in should be as normal on index.php as it is with home.php

Thanks Will
