Plain-text usage meter is available at https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usage ... ,{PASSWORD}. {USERNAME} and {PASSWORD} are the same as you use to login to the Member Facilities. This seems to be the same as the PHP script that you proposed, but only returns plain-text, not XML

Thanks Corey, I am already aware of the text based usage readout, my reason for requesting XML is:

- XML is much cleaner and compatible with almost all coding languages.
- There is no need for a garbage cleanup, like is required on text based.
- The Text Based does not include the plan allowance information like I have requested for the XML.

...its also worth noting that the PHP script used to generate the usage in PLAIN TEXT, could easily be modified into valid XML format ...if the exetel staff found time to work on it. :D

Hi tripwu,

thanks for offering to make this widget, it'll be great when (if?) it happens!!!

I was wondering if you had coded the SMS part already, and, if so, whether you could release a alpha version for use in the meantime? This would be much appreciated...

Cheers,
postglock.

I have asked Raymond if he can give an update, but he is a very busy man so you will need to be patient.

Raymond has advised that the XML output usage interface has been completed - this is the link

https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usage ... e,password

wow! awesome job guys

you really went all out and gave all the data, seriously good stuff

the only thing that seems off is the <LineSpeed> node is grabbing the same data as <PeakTimeDownloadInMB>

I can make a really nice advanced usage widget with all this data

well done!

Sorry mate, haven't got the widget/iphone app finished yet... I have built a really nice flash as3 frontend to the sms gateway, but i doubt that would help you.

I'll post the widget and iphone app on the forum when its ready.

No problem... looking forward to it!!

Considering I had to google as3 to find out what it meant, it's probably not helpful at all...
