Plain text usage page (usagemeter.php). Can't log in.
Plain text usage page (usagemeter.php). Can't log in.
I am having issues with the new Netusage app with it complaining that it has the wrong username/password.
The utility has been changed to utilise the plain text usage page located at:
https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usagemeter.php?
But no matter what I try I get 'wrong username password'. I had a similar issue a while back not being able to log into a certain section of the website with my username/password and I feel that perhaps it's related.
But can anyone tell me the correct format to use?
I've tried
https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usage ... 39555555PA
and also
https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usage ... 39555555PA
But neither work. I'm 100% sure my username/password is correct.
Am I missing something? I can PM my login details to any admins if they need to look into it.
I can raise a support ticket if required, just thought this might be a better method for now.
Cheers.

Format should be https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usage ... ,{PASSWORD} where {USERNAME} and {PASSWORD} are identical to what you login with for the Member facilities. Older accounts may utilise the default password "password" as opposed to your modem password of "0395555555AB"
Thanks for the suggestions but it didn't help. Still comes up with invalid username/password.CoreyPlover wrote:Format should be https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usage ... ,{PASSWORD} where {USERNAME} and {PASSWORD} are identical to what you login with for the Member facilities. Any other ideas or should I raise a ticket. I can supply my details if that helps.
Thanks,
Hi StratI'm 100% sure my username/password is correct.
In this case, 100% sure is simply not enough

If you can't remember what the correct password is, let me know and I'll re-send your log-in credentials to your contact email address on file.

Thanks Gidget. I searched my email and you were right I had a different password for the User Facilities.Gidget wrote:Hi StratI'm 100% sure my username/password is correct.

I've never had to use that, I've always used the modem password for logging into the website without issue for the most part. Confusing, I didn't realise there were two different passwords.
Anyway thanks a lot for that. You can have the rest of the night off

Gee thanks Strat, I might just do that for a changeYou can have the rest of the night off![]()

Glad to hear it's sorted.

I'm having the same problem,
I can log into Member Facilities with no problem with un/pw but can't get https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usagemeter.php? to work. Was working as of last week.

OK, I assumed the FF Net Usage Plugin was using that link in its previous version, didn't realise it was scraping the members page previously. I'm on Naked but I do have a username based on the phone# I used to sign up. I can also confirm the username/pw combo I'm putting in is the same as my original activation email from Exetel Provisioning.
Gidget helped me out:
https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usage ... x,password
worked. The actual password was "password". That was the one combo I didn't try, Thanks guys.

Re: Plain text usage page (usagemeter.php). Can't log in.
I just tried this, and it's not working - gives me the error message "error=Incorrect User/Pass"
I tried it with the correct password for the member facilities, and also with the literal text password instead.
i.e. neither
https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usagemeter.php?029747####,########
(actual username and password for member facilities concealed in this post)
nor
https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usagemeter.php?029747####,password
work.
I can still log in to the member facilities with my username and password.
I had thought that the latest version of Critter's Net Usage Item (1.2.199) was broken, but now I suspect it's the usagemeter.php script that's the problem. Can this be fixed?
Regards
Tim
