Incorrect usage

Post by Franky » Thu Jul 23, 2009 3:48 pm

Like way, way incorrect:

Image

Noticed Mini Exetel app showed me go from half of my on/off-peak 59%-54 respectively, to a whopping 348/277% over my monthly limit. Checked my member's facility just to make sure and it has the same statistics.

Gonna chalk this up to a minor glitch (right, yes.. okay?) 'cause there's no way I could make those numbers in 23 days, even if I tried.

I've alerted our developers to another case of this.

My peak went from less than 5GB last night to over 14GB today (6GB plan). Off-peak seems to have reduced by about the same amount.

Yep I'm in the same boat mine jumped from 3gig to over 17 gig within an hour, I watch my usage very carefully, after being ripped off before, so I know I havn't used that much.

yeah mine went from just over 5gb used in peak ( 6gb plan ), to 13.91gb, was keeping my eye on my peak every day so as to not go over, then that happened

my offpeak is also reading wrong I think, should be more

still reading wrong, has been for 5 days now, looks like waiting for it to be fixed is going nowhere and I will have to take this further.

yea this morning i woke up and checked my useage like i do every day and some how in the few hrs i was in bed my useage has jumped over 6gb that morning on hsdpa with a 5 gig limit this is very concerning as i will not pay the rediculus bill this will cause. i have already gone through and checked for malware checked my hosts files checked my firewall logs and traffic logs in my firewall on the server as well as all client machines and its simply not possible. anyone else got any issues today? i know exetel is doing some upgrades to the network and i would assume this would be the cause.

if anyone has any ideas?

yeah mine too, this morning it jumped from 0 to 156mb, then 766mb then 1444mb. The developer insist it was me who have been doing the download during peak, which is not true. I kept insisting that they have another look at it, after 5 emails back and forth with the developer and a dozen phone calls they told me it was a fault and they also had other users with the same problem. Man i just hope they fix this because i normally use 30mb during peak. im gonna turn off my modem tonight and see what it will show tomorrow. I hope this will be fix soon.

I've also been told it was correct data downloaded which is utter bs as my firewall on the server logs all traffic through my networks... im not an idiot i will terminate my service at the end of this month should it not be corrected.

by the way when i canceled it i did NOT agree to the terms and conditions at the bottom your script behind it is flawed and allowed me to proceed without agreement to the terms perhaps you should employ a decent web developer i would never write such a flawed script.
