Received incorrect email notice of 100% quota being reached

Today around 12:30pm I was surprised to receive an email from Exetel stating that:
Your peak usage has reached over 100% of your account allowance.

You are currently 77% of the way through the billing month.
I logged into https://www.exetel.com.au/members/ and it reported I was only 48% through my peak usage (which is what I was expecting). I waited around an hour to make sure I had up to date statistics ("Updated at 2010-05-24 13:31:31") and it remained the same.

The email contained the correct service number, so it wasn't fake.

I believe it was sent out by mistake.
