Peak/Off-Peak Time Monitored Wrong

Post by Soliah » Fri Nov 05, 2010 12:08 pm

I'm currently on the grandfathered Z/21INCTEL plan that has the 12am-12pm off peak. However, it seems my usage is being monitored as 2am-8am which is causing my peak usage to be monitored incorrectly as I have scheduled downloads to start at 12am.

Should I email support?

Ok this is weird. It's switching between both. My peak usage will randomly jump up 6GB and down 6GB.

We probably are on the same boat.
I found this error too and post a screenshot just now, in a thread next to yours.

Hmm I just come to report something like this... my on/off peak times are right but my limits are listed as 60/54 not 30/unlimited
oh well hopefully it will sort itself

Just came from work and noticed over 2 GB increase in my downloads. Nobody was using Internet during this time, something dodgy is going on here.

Spoke too soon. The times are correct but the usage is not correct. It's completely off. Can we please get someone to look at this?

Re: Peak/Off-Peak Time 1 hr ahead

Hey,

I have a similar problem. Usage meter times are 1hour a head. I'm in brisbane non DST however usage is probably DST as it is 1hr ahead. Wasn't a issue few days ago only noticed it this weekend.

Please let me know if it has changed or if i have to adjust for this from now on.

Cheers!

I don't think you need to adjust for this, but I'd log a ticket informing Exetel about your usage metre glitch

This is happening to me also. I only noticed when I got the 80% peak usage email and then analyzed my usage over the last few days.

I'm in brisbane also. Will log a ticket.

Well I lodged one, and havent had much help so far. at first didnt seem to believe i was in the wrong time zone then said should be fixed.

I still see my server time in members facilities as 1 hour ahead. To test it (as it could've just been a simple script error on the front end) i downloaded some more and now added to peak usage.

Let me know how you go, i'll give them another week then ask for an update.

Excellent! Will myself and other effected users have their peak usage for the month so far adjusted?
