OCV200 change plan to OPFx plans looks incorrect

Post by terrox » Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:47 pm

These two screenshots show that the costs seem different for OPFx plans compared to the OPx plans for new customers.

http://prntscr.com/a38i4
http://prntscr.com/a38sy

Line rental sasys $10, is free/included for new customers.
9000 minute package says it is included in the plan via the #hash footnote, costs $10 for new customers.
The yellow box says line rental is $10, is free/included for new customers.

This is presented similarly on both pages, so I can't tell if it is a layout problem or intentional - some people think it is a layout problem (me included).

There is a $10 extra charge for the 9000 call minutes if opted for. The normal prices of the plans would be http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_adsl2_new.php

Does that mean the pages are incorrect as written?

OP plans are different from OPF plans.

With the OP plans, you do not get any included telephone calls. Whereas, OPF plans cost $10 extra for 9000 minutes of free calls per month to landlines within Australia and to Optus/ Optus Reseller Mobiles.

What's indicated in the two liks provided are accurate.

That isn't what the page says.
-----
OPF3 $20.00 $44.50 $10.00 YES#
# included in this plan is 9,000 minutes worth of FREE calls. Calls included in this 9,000 minutes are National Calls, Local Calls and Calls to Optus Mobiles.
-----

#included in the plan is 9000 minutes.
OPF3 is the plan.

Paying $10 for the 9000 minutes is not mentioned.
Paying $10 for line rental is mentioned.

I can't see how the page is accurate, but I do know what it is intending to say - but that doesn't mean that the page is accurate.

The OPF3 plan is $54.50 per month. This includes the monthly telephone rental as well 9000 minutes of free calls to above specified call types.
$44.50 is the ADSL charge $10 is the monthly telephone charge with included calls.

The page is confusing.
It says "Monthly Line Rental Included" then further down the page it provides the details of the "Monthly Telephone Charges". It doesn't say those charges specifically relate to the $10.00 option ONLY:

The page can be easily be interpreted as misleading.

Thank you for your feedback. The footnote indicates that the 9000 Free minute charge is related to the $10 fee. However, if customers find this confusing we will try to display it better.
